I am getting ready to head out for the weekend so I wanted find out what the temperature of my refrigerator is before I load it up with food. It is running on AC and I turned on last night at 4:00 PM in. This morning at 7:00 AM the outside temperature was 67F (19.4C) with 65% Humidity. The first picture is the freezer compartment, and my garage sale temp gauge, reads 8F (-13C) and the main compartment 38F (3.3C). There are 4 out of 5 lights lit up on the temp controller. The model is a Dometic RM 8501. The freezer compartment on this will freeze ice cream harder than the refrigerator I have in my house.

Yup, those are about the same temps I get with the larger fridge in our Salem.  We love taking ice cream on trips now!

Looks like you are ready to go, but don't forget to pack the ice cream!

We have a 178 iPod in the fridge  has indicators on it to say like five red dots does that mean it's cold or does that mean its warmer ..it seems to work better of three dots and I was wondering if anyone else was having the same problem and what to do

This is what it says for the RM8501 refrigerator I have.
4.3.3 Setting of cooling compartment temperature.
Select the desired cooling compartment temperature
by pressing button "2".
The LED display "7" of the selected temperature
setting is illuminated.
The scale starts with MIN position at the bottom
LED position (small crystal = highest temperature)
and climbs up to MAX position at the upper
LED position (large crystal = lowest temperature).
Note: The temperature levels do not relate to
absolute temperature values.
