Here are some pics of our Marti's awning.  We started with the R-dome, but it did not fit our camping style, so we sold it and purchased the awning.  We have had it for 2 years now and it seems to be good quality and we have had no issues.  The Kelty poles were purchased on amazon, a bit spendy but worth the money.

Hi, Podrunner!  I love the pics that you posted of your awning.  I have a question: how do you attach it to your r-pod?  Is it difficult to put up and take down?

I'm getting close to being done with the awning I am making. As soon as I am, I will post pictures of it.

It simply fits in the same factory installed track that the r dome uses. It does require a small ladder (depends on how tall you are, I am only 5'9") to reach the highest part of the pod. Easy to put up or take down in just a few minutes.

The awning goes in the grooved thing that is on the top of the wall.  On the other end are 3 poles and ropes to attach to stakes in the ground.  See the pictures in Kdub's post.
