I am wondering if anyone is using anything other than a Jensen 12vdc television. If so, what is it and what do you think of it? I may swap my existing TV so, I am sort of "shopping".

My advice is to install an inverter, or install a 12V socket and get a car inverter, and run a regular television. You'll have the entire world of televisions to choose from. An LED TV doesn't take much power; the Jensen 19" 120VAC model is rated at 17W.

Thanks for the reply, Bum. Actually, that is what I do now. I have a 19" 120vac LCD television with an inverter. It uses 55 watts, according to the sticker on the back. I could gain by going with an LED television but, am wondering if anyone has purchased/using a 12vdc other than the Jensen. The Jensen seems a little "salty" to me....but I am kind of thrifty.

The only one I remember, at the moment is "Axess". The 19" uses "less than 30 watts" (according to the info).

I have the 18.5" Majestic-Global. It works well and draws only 15.6 watts directly from 12V.

The built in speakers leave something to be desired, but I pump the audio through the radio and it's speakers or use headphones when others are sleeping.

We have a Naxa 16" AC/Dc tv/DVD combo. The sound is not the best so I added a computer sound bar and that helped. Another issues with the small tv is viewing angle, when we watch ours I have to adjust it just right, you can't be off angle very much. The tv came with our trailer the previous owners ripped out the existing system because they had nothing but problems with it. The tv/dvd combo is nice for those time you antenna can't pick anything up. If I was going to replace mine I would get a 19". It would still be small enough to store in the space under the bead when we travel. Amazon has the 19" Naxa tv/DVD combo for $169. I have seen some good prices at Amazon Warehouse Deals.

We have the Naxa 12 volt with DVD.  Not sure if it is a 19 or a 20".  Came with the used rpod so is several years old.  The TV works fine but the sound quality and volume are terrible so we had to add an external speaker.   The DVD is a bit finicky, usually have to mess around a lot with it to get it to play.  I would not recommend this one if you are buying new.  Thinking about adding a new stereo head unit that will play DVDs and use that to feed the TV and some decent speaker.  We have the old head banger unit over the bed (2013 model 178) which in my opinion is useless. Can't convince the wife that we should pull the whole thing out, at least not yet. Good luck in finding the right unit for you.

I'm using a 27" Vizio LED 720P that actually runs on 12 volts. I went to best buy and peeked at the TV's that used a wall wart for power. All of them used 12 volts I saw. So I made a simple mount for the wall in my R-Pod 171 and tapped 12 volts from my antenna booster circuit.

The provided entertainment system (Jensen=Junk) has DVD, but I wanted Blue Ray. Found a small Sony unit that also runs from 12 volts. I use my installed 12 volt Aux outlet for power and run HDMI cable to the TV. I plan to permanently installing this. Just trying to run cables will be a chore and I want to re-wire the setup.
