Went to wash the roof before winter storage. Found this green black dried slime which was extremely hard to remove with conventional car wash soap. Any suggestions on a cleaner that would work with a little less effort.

I love a product called AWESOME. you can dilute it to multiple type of cleaning projects according to the bottle. I've fought dark tree sap and gunk on my Pod roof and stuff at the end of a long winter for years with it.
You can find it in Dollar Store, Dollar General, Walmart sometimes, I've seen it at Lowes before as well. Amazon also carries it. |

I have had good luck with Simple Green. Comes in a spray bottle or as a concentrate. It's biodegradable and really works.
