We just got one and have used it a couple of times. I really like having something over the door. We haven't had any rain yet so not sure how the drainage works. It does get caught up on the screw heads in the rail, but the rDomes have that problem, too (see my current thread asking for keder rail tips.) Overall, I really like it, but I do think they are overpriced for what you get.

I'll try to post a pic, but I seem to be having technical difficulties.

We got one at the beginning of summer.  Like GLBCamper, we didn't experience rain on any of our trips this year, but so far really like the visor.  It's easy to put up and takes up very little space.

I don't think we would or could use an R-dome very often.  They have a large footprint, and it seems like most of the sites we camp in have a tree or rock or unlevel ground next to the camper.  The visor provides a bit of shade to put a couple of chairs under, and a little protection in the rain.

We scored one used from another R-pod owner who decided they didn't use it much, so we didn't pay very much.

You may want to make a dedicated post in the Flea Market section.
