Congratulations!

Instead of changing out the mattress, we got a 3" memory foam topper, queen size. After I cut 5" off the end, it fit perfectly, and on our recent trip was very comfortable. It isn't the Select Comfort we have at home, but I can't afford around $1,000 for a mattress either.

Check out the "Eurotop" mattress in the Camping World mag.  We changed out our mattress in our 2011 after our third weekend trip.  The Eurotop comes rolled up, just trash the old mattress, put the Eurotop in place, cut open the plastic and watch it unfold in front of your eyes.  And C O M F O R T A B L E  yes!  You will not be disappointed.  We still have it, now 5 years later.

I've pretty much determined that the R-pod is going to be the trailer for me (50ish, single, don't know crap about trailers, frankly). I'm into the 177 or 178 since I'll have my little grandkiddos and/or grown daughter from time to time. I'm trying to decide--new or used. I see the difference in the sink, but what's a flip toe and the riser thing you're talking about? Also, how important for someone like me to buy used and have the dealer fix everything that may be wrong, or buy 1-4 years old? Seems the difference is $1,500 or a little more per year. Decisions, decisions. Thoughts, help?

Buy new, unless you are handy. The difference you would save by buying used, is not worth the grief if you have problems.
