With that arrangement I'd worry about the bikes sitting to close to the back of the Pod, I just saw pics someone posted on facebook showing a huge hole in the outside of the Rpod from the handlebars hitting it.

I came up with a great new bike rack for my R-Pod. Since the 1.25 inch receiver will not hold our bikes I added a bumper made of 2x4s and a 2x6. The 2x4s slide inside the RPod frame, no welding. The bike rack I purchased sits on the 2x6 which sits across the 2x4s and is more than strong enough. An added bonus is the addition of sewer hose storage. I hope to post some pictures.
