I installed the Fan-Tastic Vent Cover so we could keep the vert open during rain, travel and storage.
It was a pretty simple install and easily removed if need be:

I had to remove some caulking to access 2 screws on each side to install the 4 pins.

I installed the 4 pins (2 per side) with 100% silicone caulk.

Put the cover on through the 4 pins and fasten with washer and clips

Clips pull out to remove cover

Nice job, and ditto on the great pix.  Is that the "smoke" color or is it black?

So you just use the existing holes?  No new holes need to be drilled?

you remove 4 existing screws (2 on each side) and use the screws that come with the cover to install the plates/pins.
