i am mounting a mini blind in my 179 should I use the plastic anchors with screws, or just use the screws to attach the blind mounts to the wall

I'm very interested to see how you did this? I'm not a big fan of the curtains in the kitchen area in the 179 and would like to replace with something else. Either mini blinds, a shade or just loose curtains. Photos if you or anyone has done this. Thanks

RMW454 I got my mini blind at Home Depot. I measured the length of the curtain channel to decide how wide,a mini blind I would buy. I removed the curtains, leaving the upper and lower curtain channels on the wall. The mini blind came with three wall brackets, I installed a bracket at each end of the curtain channel, and the 3rd bracket in the middle of the curtain channel.i installed each bracket where the bottom of the bracket set on top of the plastic curtain channel. That way the channel would help support the weight of the mini blind when installed.Because the 179 wall paneling is so thin, I mounted the brackets using the smallest Molly bolts I could find. A lot more solid then using screws into the paneling. After installing my blind , my wife made a Valance out of the factory curtains, that I mounted above the mini blind to hide the brackets, and the mini blind rail. I cut my blind so it was about two inches below the factory channel. We love how it came out. Looks like a factory install. Those curtains look so cheap. We were using clothes pins at night to keep them closed.
