Our first few trips we noticed every time we turned on the bathroom light it cut the HDTV signal, like completely wiped it out!
We had to run a new cable (RG6) from the plate to the HDTV because the factory cable fell apart half way through the first trip. On the next trip we noticed that turning on the bathroom light still interfered with the HDTV, but not as often and rarely cut the signal to the point of losing video and audio, but, it still does it from time to time. We think the new cable helped prevent whatever interference the light generates.
My question is, has this ever happened to you?
When we pull the POD out of storage we are going to look further into what and how the wires run through that wall and maybe look at re-doing the run from the antenna to the plate.
We have heard a lot of people complain about the performance of the bat wing antenna and we wonder if part of the problem could be poor cable (f connector) terminations on the feed line (RG6).
Any thoughts? Recommendations?
