175 cabinet doors supports

   hello everyone

I have a 2010 175 with the couch slideout and there is a overhead cabinet. the doors do not have any supports to hold them open. has anyone added supports to theirs? if so can you post a picture. I just purchased cabinet mini struts from ebay from a rv supplier  thinking they would work but they will not due to how the door is designed. it is mounted higher up than the opening. which will not let the strut rotate inside.

	marwayne I had seen your picture of yours supports I have the same ones in my motorhome they will not work due to the cabinet opening being several inches lower than the top of the door. I purchased the other struts are almost the same as the one you posted except they have a 2 hole mount on both ends. I took one out of the motorhome and tried it after I found that the news would not work and I would not work eother . may have to try a sliding type of support or just cut a stick and use it for a support. thanks

	ok here are a few pics of the cabinet supports I installed today. the spring type(pic) I could not get to work with the way the cabinet door is mounted several inches higher than the opening. the friction type work ok they have a small bar that you have to flip up to lock the door in the open position. not near as nice as the spring type but works better than my head as a door prop.
