I think the range on mine is like 105º - 120º. I expect heavy braking could push that to 150º+. I'm looking for the 200º+ mark under normal driving conditions as a sign for the first spot of trouble.

The touch test says you should be able to keep your hand on it, so I'd expect that 120 F figure to be the max.
