Driveway camping is fun too.. In fact we have an event in January that revolves around it.

I bet T-day weekend is super busy down that way, prime camping season, and a long weekend.. Hopefully you can find something open..

Maybe MissyBuck just needs some good examples like us!  I'm partial to Sangrias m'self.  And let's not forget the Pods' outdoor showers.  Perfect for the Gulf.  Smile

I wish I liked the Texas beach since it is a fairly convenient distance from here. I was a lake/river rat growing up and prefer fresh water

Now, I did spend a week at the Florida beach when my kids were younger and did enjoy that. Completely different experience for me. And while I'm on the subject - we stayed at St. Joeseph State Park. Man, it is beautiful! Rated one of the best beaches in the nation. Crystal clear water and white sand. Very fond memories.

Fond memories!   I grew up near there (Harlingen).  Makes me want to go get my fishing gear out.  Good photo, Cliff.

When we went to a closer dealer for warranty work we got the same runaround. The parts guy who was listening in approached us in the parking lot and told us to just tell them we moved to their area. Show ID to "prove" you now live in the area and they will do the work no problem. Weird but it worked. just sayin...Clap
