Yep the seal being visible is normal. They can't have rigid trim there as the fit from slide to wall isn't always exactly the same, depends on frame flex etc...

i don't have any type of trim around our slide in our older model 181g. just the fabric covered coverings on the front. i can see our slide gasket the same as yours in the picture.
although ours is white and not as eye catching as that. |

New Owner here. Was loading up for our first trip this coming weekend and noticed that it looks like the trim on the back edge of the slide out is missing. Trying to post a picture. Is this correct. Picture may be sideways. Thanks
