What really brought us into the whole idea of a travel trailer was seeing a t@b in our local mall.  It was just so stylish and cute.  The more we thought about it, the more we wanted to do it so we kept on going back to the mall and leaving our fingerprints all over the exterior of the t@b before going to our local dealer and looking at a few models.  Then we found the r-pod that had actual tanks we could dry camp with.

But still, we love the clean interior style of the original t@bs and that of the Airstreams.

The white cupboards offered for the r-pod, while visually brightening the interior, felt a bit too ...domestic.  Isn't the whole point of camping to get away from the clutter of home?  Lighter coloured woods seems to be a nice compromise.

Our 2011 RP-172 has the circular graphics (starting to peel) and we get constant ooohhhs and ahhhhs from people walking by at camp grounds. Its not uncommon to give multiple tours as most people like the eclectic look of the Pod. Now comes the " you can stand up in it " or " it has nicer cabinets than our house. (ours has the cherry veneer " and then ther it has a Microwave and a convection oven and a little flat screen t.v. I think the best one I heard was from a fellow that had a 37 foot diesel pusher and he said " it has everything we have but just in a smaller package " You gotta love the Pod.
