Hello there...We are new owners of a 182G for about 2 months now and have gone camping 3 times...each time learning more/new things we need to learn...Most recently about the rapid effects that extreme water pressure has when not using a regulator.  Got a quick mop job out of that and a new pressure regulator. Ouch  Looking forward to learning more.

Welcome!

Almost as bad as not securing the sewer hose well before opening the valve! I won't do do that again!

And...we would get so excited about visiting a new campground, we would back in, set up camp and pour a glass of wine before remembering we didn't fill the water tank on the way in!

Now we put post-it notes on the dash.

Learning is a way of life! Smile

new 182g for me too.  Been out one time so far (last weekend) I purchased water regulator, filters and a surge protector. We brought our fresh water and made it through weekend on that, so havnt used the reg or filters yet.

Welcome!

We ended up just filling the tank and using that for 3 days. We got the regulator later but had plenty of water for the trip. It was a pain though accessing and repairing the clamp. Although simple to access, too many times and I will have to relocate the screws. Also too much electrical inside the box with the blowing water. Had to disconnect and totally dry out before plugging back in. A real mess.

That sucks (or, rather blows) trvinlite. I'm sure you already know, but you're gonna want to make sure you dry out everything real, real good. Doesn't take a lot of water to start things swelling up. On my 178, there is a transverse channel from galley to bathroom that looks like a great potential water reservoir.
