Good afternoon,
I'm a new owner (as of July 2013) of a RP-178. Last trip of the year during the fall, I turned on the heat for the first time....only to find that the AC unit came on simultaneous with the heater? I had to turn the AC breaker off, to prevent this from happening. Any thoughts on this.....I am doing something wrong or defective switch/wiring? Thanks! You had your fan setting on your thermostat set wrong. It needs to be on "auto" if it's an analog thermo, and "AU" if it's digital. That will fix it. :)
