Hi there - we are new campers and just bought an rpod - 179.  YAHOO!  We haven't even picked it up from the dealership yet, but we have a question.  (...and the dealership can't answer. ugh!)  Does anyone know the approximate size of the outdoor room/tent that comes with the RPod?  I can't find that info anywhere in my paperwork, flyers or online.  I MUST be looking in the wrong place, but I figure that one of you out there knows the answer to my question.  Thanks in advance for your help!  Can't wait to start camping with the family in our new RPod!  The kids are going to LOVE it! - thanks!

not sure if the sizes have changed at all but ours is for our 2012 171, and it is just slightly smaller than 9 x 12.  That is the size of outdoor patio rug we bought for it, and the rug just barely extends past the sides and front.

Welcome. Time for a commercial. There is a roundup of Rpods scheduled this Sept. in Charleston, Or. Look under Events and Campouts for the Pacific NW Roundup. After correcting some accounting errors on the campgrounds log, we have two full hookups available. There are 38 spaces already accounted for. Lots of Pods. In any event, love to have you attend. Will get to see many mods from all over the country. Safe Travels.

Yes, that is Comet in the pic ... we think he loves to camp in the Pod even more than we do!

If this is a new 176 pod, or at least newer than 2011, you need a LARGE keeder, 11 foot Dometic Cabana. If your 176 is older, then you need a SMALL keeder model. Or to change the keeder track.
