Drove to Buffalo, NY from Great Falls, Va. Sunday, Dec. 22 for a Monday pick up of my 2010 #171 from Colton RV.  The trip was an uneventful 8 hours.   Colton did a good job of giving me a tutorial on the 171, and installed the wiring harness for the trailer brakes in my truck (2004 Toyota Tacoma).  Left Buffalo about 3:00 PM Monday and rolled into Great Falls at 1:00 AM Tuesday.  I got lucky with the weather window and did not get into any nasty winter stuff.  The 171 traveled well at up to 65 mph.  I did have Colton put a friction bar on the tongue.  Gas mileage was unimpressive at 10 mpg, and I was filling up every 150 miles.  I guess that goes with hauling a ton or more of weight.  For my first RVing adventure I'm looking at possibly joining the R Pod gathering Jan 17-19 in central Pennsylvania.  Glad to have my R Pod and looking forward to meeting good R Pod folks this year.Big smile

Welcome. 150 to 190 miles is about all that we can travel with the Jeep which works well for me as I get a chance to move my knee every 2 1/2 or 3 hours. Goose
