Ahh, someone like us, had to special order our 177 w/o A/C, got an extra vent on top to fill in the gap of the 'missing' a/c unit.  But, how novel to put in a skylight!   After you post, I may have to copy your idea, sounds pretty neat.  We are a touch south of the 45th parallel, about 1 mile, so I know what you mean about being more concerned about heating than cooling.  In fact it is about time to fire up the wood stove, getting snow right now but can't justify using it yet as the temps are still way to warm in the daytime, low to mid 40's
