Tnx fer the note.  I actually got into solar because I was so active in the IOTA program and didn't really want to use the generators available for operating.  I also sponsored K4BMS at the middle school I taught at for 27 years.  Great ideas for the LED's in a bucket and I am going to try those.  I put my batteries in a wheeled cooler with a charge controller mounted inside and a 12v marine plug on the outside.  Keeps everything nice and tidy!  I keep one main battery on the trailer in a large battery box, controller inside and accessory outside and use the above "cooler setup" for a more reserve if I am going to be boondocking for more than a week.  I use 2 wire flat connectors to mate the two batteries.  One thing I did learn after being stumped for several years, is to put in a fused line that feeds the trailers inverter as it was the source of some nasty RFI.  I just pull the fuse when I'm going to operate.  Again, tnx fer the note!!
Cheers!
