While its fresh in my mind I wanted to let anyone whose interested know what a great job DNL Recreaction in WI Rapids, WI did for us last week. We had been shopping for a R-pod and talked to some larger dealers in metro areas and a lot at RV shows. Then we kind of stumbled on DNL through a web search for used R-pods for sale.

They are a small dealer in Central Wisconsin but when we visited in December (2011)they had four different R-pod floor plans in stock including the one very slightly used (177) that we ended up purchasing last week. The biggest surprise came last Friday when we picked it up. We were told by Dave Bonsack, who sold us the unit and is the ower there, to expect an hour and a half or so for orientation. Long story some what shorter... Ann and I are new to RV'ing and had a million questions. Dave, wife Lori, son Nick and staffer Steve spent nearly 4 hours helping us understand all the features and how they work! When we pulled out of the dealership we were quite comfortable and felt we had a good basic understanding of how the R-pod functions. They were so very patient with us and endured what were probably some pretty stupid questions. Now it's up to us to remember all those great explanations until April when we head south to the Gulf Coast.

Thanks DNL, you exceeded our expectations by a mile! Duanne

Duanne, it's great that you had a dealer that took that kind of time and answered your questions.  When we got our 182G, we videotaped the walkthrough as we were afraid that we would forget half of what we were told the minute we walked out of the dealership and headed over to the Machine Shed for lunch.

If you ever want a review of the basics in case you forget, I do have the videos on YouTube.  I've got them linked at http://podtastic.info/coller.html

Thanks for doing that Podtastic. One of these days I hope to move from being a total sponge on this site to also helping others. THanks again. Duanne
