I am quite certain that Good Sam is now one with the Presidents club which gives you great discounts at Camping Wold

You'll love that Oxygenics shower head (and it does come with a hose).  As I said in another post - it was the best thing I bought for the pod out of all my minor mods.  I'll leave it to the others to talk about the Good Sam Club.  Happy New Year!

I have had Good Sams for a couple of years and havent had to use it but a friend of mine had a problem in a remote area last year where it rained a couple of inches in a few hours and his camper sunk in mud up to the axels. Sams sent a semi tow truck over to pull it out of the mud and it got stuck (big mess) The bottom line is they got the camper out of the mud and there was no charge on it. My friend said they were the best. It was over a 70 mile ride for the tow truck!

We have a life membership with Good Sam.  They have done a lot to increase the number of benefits you get with that membership, including a .06/gal gas discount at Flying J/Pilot gas stations that you can see at http://www.rvpluscard.com/.  The downside is that you will get a lot of mail, but I end up putting it in the circular file.

We do camp with a group that is affiliated with Good Sam called Sunshine Sams, and we have had a blast with them.  I've been working on putting together a web site for the group at http://sunshine.podtastic.info if you want to get a sense of where we go and where we're going though it's in Beta right now.  I have a lot of our camping adventures and pictures from our Sunshine Sams adventures on my page at http://podtastic.info.

For us it was a good investment as we made a lot of great friends, but at the end of the day you'll have to see if the costs outweigh the benefits.

Good luck!

Trailer Life and Good Sam are both owned by the same company.  You will be flooded with ads.  Good Sam will get you a lot of discounts on camping.  Myself I think Escapees is a lot better.

Let us know what you think of it.  Others have spoken highly of them and one is on my wish list.
