The FR dealer told us that any toilet paper marked "septic system safe" can be used in the R-Pod toilet. Then again   ...I know that there is such a thing as "RV/Marine" toilet paper.

This is our first camper with onboard plumbing so we have no direct experience with this topic.

Interested in any and all feedback.

I use Scotts. It says right on the package its septic safe. I used to use the Rv toilet paper but it costs alot more. I have also been using Happy Camper in my tanks and have had no smells at all.

Take a piece of TP and put it in a jar of water.  Shake it up real good.  If the TP brakes up into pieces then its okay to use in a RV.  That is an old test.

Regular house TP normally will not pass that test.  So what happens is the TP will stay whole and accumulate on the level sensors etc.

We use Scotts at home and in the trailer.  We get the huge pack at BJ's, since every roll is wrapped indivually.  See the tip above for determining what's OK to use.  You should never use any of the Charmin brands.  They will even close your household toilet, so just imagine the havoc they will cause in the RV.  The specific RV/Marine tiolet paper, we've found, not to be strong enough "to keep you  clean, while you're trying to get clean", if you know what I mean.  Stick with Scotts.

OK     ...I'm a believer. Took some Scotts and AngelSoft and did shake test. Both disitegrated in seconds.
