Anyone out there with experience or advice on taking the pod down the coast road. I plan to go from Cannon Beach, Oregon to Big Sur in October. Drove it northbound 30 years ago with a 19' trailer. Is is still doable? Would appreciate any comments! Leaving way too sunny FL Sept 1. Jan of Sistahs

No, but two summers ago we took a rented Mercury Marquis from Cannon Beach up to Astoria. It was almost as big as pulling the RPod!
  Was'nt a problem. My last trip SB was about 30 years ago too....

What I am reading of late makes me think I will skip the Monterey to Big Sur section. Just wondered if anyone has been there recently. Jan
