Hoping it's ok to ask two unrelated questions! If not, please advise.
Best spray lube for slide track? Should my A/C fan come on when I call for furnace heat on the stat? The shakedown cruise went well! Thank you all.

On my 14 year old 177 I have used a penetrant (Schaeffer's Penetro90) for the rollers on the slide. Any 'dry slide' product that does not attract dirt works well on the slide track (The one I use was purchased at a bicycle shop for chains and does not attract dirt - contains teflon). Lastly I recommend you keep an eye on the rubber that surrounds your slide, keep it lubricated so it doesn't crack and dry out. The product used for this is produced by Protect All and is called 'Slide-Out Rubber Seal treatment & protectant - comes in a 17 oz. aerosol can. More than you asked for, however these are usually done at the same time. On the 177, rollers and rubber components are sprayed once every 2 years. The slide track gets a shot once every 3 years. Hope this is helpful. Sorry, no help on the A/C question, my 177 does not have one.

It depends on what you have for the fan setting. Look at it as the AC fan is helping distribute the warm air from the furnace. That seems to be the default. However, (I am going from memory here) if you change the fan setting, it will stop the AC fan from operating when the furnace runs. Since I can't check, someone else may be able to provide the information. Otherwise, a forum search should help find the information (advanced search or Google search of the forum) since I do know this has been addressed in the forum before, just not recently.
