Hi There!

I am looking to install a TV Mount in the bed area of my Rpod 190 2023.

The mount I just received weights 6 lbs itself, without the TV on it...

Is that wall is strong enough for that weight?  I will put the 27'' TV delivered with the trailer and initially installed near the entrance door...  Then at the entrance, I will install another TV, maybe 110V and using it with the inverter ...  Keeping the original 12V Tv for the bed room where there is only a 12V plug and no 110...

Is it risky to install that kind of mount on the bed room wall (same as bath room).  Does it weight too much?

If somebody else did that, what kind of mount are you using?

Thank you!

We put a different TV mount on ours to allow us to swivel the TV around in our RP179. The wall did not seem too strong, so we added a doubler on the inside of the wall.

We moved the tv mount in our 179 to a lower position on the same wall that the factory used. Every RPod model is different, so you will have to adapt. . Our 179 tv wall is the left side of the wardrobe. It is hollow and approximately 1 ½” thick being made from 3/4”-1” “framing” strips with ¼” panels on both sides. The area where we wanted the tv mounted was on a hollow part of the wall.  I made a flat metal panel approximately 2” larger (height and width) than  the tv base. I used the correct length bolts/nuts/lock washer to bolt the tv bracket through the wall and onto the metal plate in side the wardrobe. Drill the backplate exactly to the bolt pattern of the tv bracket and drill the holes in the wall the same way.  Drill carefully so there is as little slop in the holes as possible.Tighten the nuts  in rotation so all are equally tight and 1 does not get too tight and collapse the wall. It is very sturdy and has lasted for several years so far.

Hope this helps
