   Modern Syn oils are great for 5K or more. I own a Tacoma and change it at 5K as it pretty is used for towing. If you are a Costco member they have an amazing deal on full syn oil....Which I have used for 2 years and had no issues, including pulling over 10K foot passes in the Rockies...
