New Hamp'Shire' that is!

Foliage has begun and as we have just returned from the 'North' country to see what we could, it's peaking early and we got it!

Areas above Franconia Notch are coming in and getting there right now. Areas below, if not backcountry, are within a week or so. What I'm sayin' is don't hesitate if you wish to see!

As a friend from the Shire, cone and enjoy while it's a happening!

we love new hampshire and especially vermont!  as a younger person i did a lot of hiking in the white mts of nh...  my wife is originally from vermont so we spend a lot of time there too...   reading through your journal of the maritimes with interest...  the northeast is amazing all year 'round!

These past couple years we have explored even deeper into the Byways of the Shire. It just doesn't stop amazing me!

We have retuned from 2 separate runs north for the color. Catching the top of the State and I do mean the very tip, is difficult to do. This year we caught it in it's full glory! It was a full week ahead of the predicted.. so much for predicted color..

Let me know if/when you visit the Shire again! I'll try to get out and show you some more.
