If you don't get the parts locally for this weekend trip you might want to try on line with e-trailer.  They have a lot of parts on line and very helpful videos.  Hope this helps

Not sure if you can get them but if I had it to do over I'd try to get nice non self adjusting brakes. You can put them exactly where you want them, and back them off if you get them too tight. The stars are set up to turn either way as well, go figure.

Problem solved. New brake assembly installed, bearings packed, brake controller tested. The magnet on this brake assembly is working, so I know at least one wheel will be braking. I'll check the brake and repack the bearings on the other wheel after our campout this weekend.  Smile

Thanks for the reply. Normally I would say you're correct, change them both. But since this trailer has very low mileage, several hundred, but less than a thousand, they're practically new. So, I think they will continute to wear evenly.  There's a lot of meat left on this removed brake, the other should be the same. Thanks for the great comment.

Don't forget to burnish the new brakes.

Here's how you can be sure that both brakes are working evenly. Get an IR temp meter, about $30 in Amazon. Make a few runs from 40 mph to about 10 (like you were burnishing but not as agressive) using only the trailer brakes. Stop and check the drum temps with the IR thermometer. If one brake is much cooler than the other then that one isn't working properly.
