My Slide out doesn't want to come in. Battery is charged, hooked up to house power.
When I press the button, only one side will come in about 3 inches. I've checked the sides, nothing blocking it inside or out. Any suggestions would be great! thanks |

On our 179, there are some wires under the rear cushioned compartment I always presumed had to do with the slide out. Is anything amiss there? Is the slide "square" in the opening- ie has anything bumped it slightly crooked?
What happens if someone pushes from the outside when you are trying the button? Is the button hooked up? Just ideas.........

The controller for the slide is behind the panel under the refrigerator. It has a display which should help you troubleshoot. You should check the Schwintek instructions also.
This sounds like your problem:

I found the wiring for the slide out so going to try to manually override and push it back in. And yes, read up on the Schwintek instructions.
I have extended warranty still including the slide out, so if all else fails but need to have it in to take it in somewhere. I'd rather try to figure out myself though, in case it happens again. thank you! |

If all else fails, you can disengage the motors, push it in manually, and then brace it so it won't move while you are traveling. Then you can get it in for service to repair the problem.
