Hi everyone,

My husband & I just got a new RPOD190 2021. We are just setting it up. Simple question! On the blinds there is that cord connected to that tack in the wall. Do you untie the cord each time you want to open the blinds to open the window? It is pretty tight & doesn't unhook easily. Just wanted to know if people took off the tack or is it good left there to secure blinds while traveling? Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks so much!

Hope you all are enjoying your summer!!!

Those cords are guides for the blinds.  Leave them tight and slide the blind up and down by holding the bottom metal bar in the middle so you are pulling evenly on both sides.

AND down, the blinds move without any participation of tack and cord.
