Would like to go to Hershey RV Show next year.  Have 2 small puppies that we take with us. Thinking about dry camping in the parking lot because do not want to leave them at a camp ground.  Would be first time dry camping.  Can anyone tell us the plus and minuses of camping in the rv parking lot.  They do allow over night parking, but no amenities.  Quiet time is 11p - 6a. We do have a small generator.
Also - any suggestions?

I think your main  issue might be keeping your dogs cool during the day. It might still be pretty warm in Hershey at that time next year, or it might not be. You will not be able to run your a/c unless you have a large enough generator and are willing to leave it running unattended, which I personally would not want to count on.

If its not too warm then you can just leave a window open and the fantastic fan on while you're gone, that will run on your battery.

Beyond keeping the trailer cool, no issues boon docking in an rPod, I do it all the time and very rarely ever have hookups. Be sure your battery is in good shape and is fully charged when you arrive (don't run your fridge on 12V), your fresh water tank is full, and your black and gray tanks are empty.

Here's a link to the dry Camping 'at' the Show. http://www.largestrvshow.com/accommodations/dry-camping/ Seems a bit expensive to me..

There's also a 'Barking Lot' (like that name) that name. That seems reasonable for $10 a day (rad it to be sure of that or hidden fees). http://www.largestrvshow.com/attend/pet-policy/

We also looked into going.
