These are "some" of the cg's were we might be staying at on our trip this June around the maritimes. If you have stayed at any of them your views would be appreciated. I've read the reviews but I trust fellow podders... Camping Au Bonnet rouge cg(Quebec),River Country cg(Clearview Nb),Kiwanis Ocean Front cg(St.Andrews NB),Parkvile cg (Kennetcoole NS),Dunroamin water front cg(Grandville Ferry NS),Shubie cg(Dartmouth NS) Riversedge cg(Sherbrooke NS),Mira river Prov park cg(Albert Bridge NS),Harbour Light cg(Pictou NS),New Glasgow Highland cg (Hunter River PEI),Chalet/Campground Restigouche cg(kedgwicke River NB.)I didn't put the obivious ones down to try and keep this as short as possible. Thanks all in advance. Please remove this thread if it's not appropriate.

Sorry that you haven't received any replies yet, Ron.
We have only stayed at Fundy, Kouchibouguac and PEI National Parks as well as de la Republique Prov. Pk in NB.
I would just go with your gut on this one.
Cheers,
David

Thanks David good to hear from you again. Kouchibouguac is under some construction and we have to get in touch last of May to see if some of the campground is open. Looks like I'm going to go with what the reviews say online. No problem at all. Save travels and good camping weather for you this year..

Good evening Ron,
I didnt see this post earlier so sorry for not replying earlier.  We've been out east a couple of times and the three campgrounds I can heartily recommend are:
1. Cape Breton Highlands National Park, just north of Cheticamp on the west coast of Cape Breton.  Great campground and Cheticamp is a nice little town.  The scenery is spectacular and Cheticamp is a great spot to get to from the south, leave your trailer there and take a day trip to complete the Cabot Trail (don't take the trailer on the Cabot Trail, the grades are steep and winding - I saw the results of overheated brake failure as I went along)
2. Fundy National Park in NB, great facilities, even an enclosed dining pavillion with cook woodstove
3. Cavendish Campground, PEI - on the north shore, it was beautiful park but can be quite windy (we stayed there back in our tent trailer days, kind of disconcerting watching your roof sway above you while you lie there!)

We also really enjoyed the town of Bridgewater, but stayed in a cottage while we were there so I don't know of any decent campgrounds.

Enjoy!!

Thanks Kasper, appreciate the info.  We won't be taking the pod around cabot trail.
