Just a for what its worth and observation for those of us who are new to the whole trailer/RV camping scene. Maybe a bit of rambling but isn't that what travel is about?
While as a teenager and currently obtaining a couple I realize that we/they have their own language and abbreviations. There is a whole dictionary on line dedicated to their slang. Many I wish I didn't know. While in the Military we had our own language and even each branch had their own special codes used when speaking to each other. I know many here remember them all to well... IE WTH /( WTF ( which was often used. ) Whiskey Tango Helo / Foxtrot 5 by 5 SNAUFU etc. As a cop I leaned the Ten codes as a ways of communication. My department only had two radio frequencies the second was meant for car to car , private conversations between dispatch and officer and warrant checks . We could have a full conversation and never speak a sentence. Brevity was golden. I now work in the medical field in emergency medicine where we have our own language. DFO and FLK. Which brings me to my topic. As you can see from the above I have not gotten on the abbreviation/ short and sweet wagon yet. What do you think of possible making a sticky for the top of pages to add our own culture of camping and R-Pod abbreviations. I find my self flipping pages often trying to find terms which mostly I know now but still sometimes forget. Maybe it could be an open list so others can add to it. Terms such as: WDH TT EMS TV and I know there are many many more.

I posted a comment to add OTOH (On The Other Hand). Since other non-RV-specific ones were there, it seemed appropriate.

"TV" is the worst because it has two connotations in a travel trailer. Somewhere I read that "tv" (lower case) means television whereas "TV" (uppercase) means tow vehicle, which makes sense: tv is an abbreviation and TV is an acronym. I can't access the link above from my work PC, so it may be there.

furpod, is it possible to pin the link to the abbreviations to the top of a page or give it a heading by itself. Thanks.
