My fridge is beeping. Yesterday when we left home we drove two hours and when I checked the trailer the refrigerator alarm was going off and it was clicking like it was trying to light. We were in 95 degree heat on I5 and I didn’t want to mess with it so I switched it to 12 volt. Later, after stopping for gas, I lit a burner for a bit and then tried to restart the fridge on propane. It worked so I figured all was well and there was just air in the lines.

Now we’re sitting in a campground with the fridge on shore power and occasionally the fridge beeps but the alarm isn’t flashing. What’s going on? Maybe the door wasn’t completely shut?

Does sound like the door wasn't shut all the way. Can't tell ya how many times we've been there.. LOL

Running the frig on propane: It doesn't always start first try. You are correct about air in the lines. Hey, I've had it happen even with lighting the stove first to purge the line.. It happens. Now if doesn't start after a few tries (and you lite the stove first), I'd be checking my propane level.

P.S. I travel with the frig on battery. My TV can handle it. If yours can.. why not?

I'll second sounds like door is not shut. When you close the door push in at the middle of the door where the latch is. I mentioned this to a tech when having some other warranty work done and he said not really an adjustment for the door he does the middle push thing on his fridge. If you want to check it push in the middle then pull on the door with a little pressure if it's not latched it will open.

Greetings

Amen to the door latch.  It took me a while to figure that out.
