Hi All--
We just ordered the 176 which should come in by September. We had options to drive a few states away, but decided to stick with our local dealer. He gave us what we feel is a dandy of a deal for a never-been-stepped-in rig.  I have scoured this forum already, and I've seen tons of insightful posts that will help me for the R-Pod experience. We had an old 2003 Flagstaff 23D, and I sold it in 24 hours on Craigslist. We wanted something smaller (but oddly, it doesn't feel much smaller inside). What I would like to know is what do I do now that I have to wait two months for it? What did you look forward to (if you had to wait)?  We're very excited.

Hello All!

I told you a while back that we ordered the 176. Then I told you all that we'd be getting our dealer's first shipment of the new 10th Anniversary edition.  Now, I can let you know that the Pod has arrived. We won't get it from the dealer 'til next week, but they were gracious enough to send some pics.

I thought I'd enclose some of those pics so that you could see what FR is up to this year with color combinations.  I know that some of you aren't a huge fan of the color, and that's OK...I have thick skin.Big smile  I know that you're a big fan of the R-Pod, and that's all the matters. So, I'm sure you'll share in our excitement of the many nights of fun that await.

So, what do you think?

It looks like FR has gone with a lighter stain for the interior wood with dark accents. I like it! I have thought more than once that the wood color choice in our 2016 179 was too dark. I'm not overly fond of the exterior, but the interior looks great.
