The valve shown by the pump for antifreeze is in the correct orientation for daily use.

Since you're planning to blow your system out for winterization you shouldn’t have to touch that.  But be sure you get all the water out of your system. I've read some stories from people that didn't do that very well and had issues with things freezing and breaking.  I'm planning to use antifreeze.  I'm also planning to make a trap door to access all of these components instead of having to remove the screws every time for the mattress support.

Thanks again...the trap door sounds like a good idea...I’ll add It to my to do list...I’m sure antifreeze is a good idea...I always used antifreeze in my pop up winterization and it survived many Michigan winters...thanks for your valuable help...

As it turns out I did use antifreeze in my winterization.   I also made a smaller access panel to make the pump and water heater much more accessible...
