Has anyone removed their bathroom door and replaced it with an extend a shower curtain rod and liner?

I remove the bathroom door in my 180 and put a curtain in. The door just always seems kind of awkward. You can see it in my Link at the bottom slow pod mods

I have a 2015 178, and the door is awkward, but what concerns me more is the door when fully open contacts the countertop if the slide is closed. It hasn't happened yet but if the door where to be open and the slide was in process of closing, that door would be an obstruction. Serious considering a rod and curtain. Put the door in storage.

When my door in the pod wood swing all the way open the handle hits the mirror on the Wardrobe, nice design

We've found if we shower with just the curtain across the opening that the thermostat would go wonky. We had to cut a visit away from our 179 short because the AC shut down and our temperature monitor said that the temperature was getting out of the comfort range for our cats. We've only had that happen when not closing the door during a shower.
