Oooooo, being a southerner by birth I have always loved brunswick stew and there a lot of variations.  How many of us travel with a crockpot?  I have debated on taking one but they need a good bit of room to store and mine is breakable (the interior stoneware crock).

We do travel with one if we know we are going to use it.  Nice thing about them is you can start your dinner and go play and when you return its done.  We pack it with towels so it will not get broken

Sylviablue, I was planning on putting a crockpot in the Pod.  Now I am thinking about getting a thermal cooker..they cost more but after a short cook time on the stove, the food cooks in the thermal cooker for hours without using any electricity.

So, now I am looking at getting one of those.

(I am addicted to kitchen things...especially gagets I don't already have...)
