I finally ordered the honda EU2000I and the 2000 watt companion that can be run in series to power the whole pod. They say it puts out 26 - 30 amps depending on load. I figure one of those units can almost run the a/c by itself. I find the a/c draws between 14 - 17 amps, and 1 genny can produce 13 - 16 amps. So i should have plenty of power to spare. Of course I'm sure the output of the genny's isn't going to be exactly as advertised, but I trust it will be within a few amps of what they say. Now I really can't wait for spring and put it to the test.
