Guys I am not a native Arky but hail from East Tennessee. I can tell you Arkansas has several Federal, State and Corp of Engineers camp site that are beautiful. We spent the Labor Day weekend at Mount Magazine. Absolutely beautiful on the mountain. Bad thing there are only 18 RV sites. All have electric, water and sewer.

Also there is a beautiful lodge with a restaurant.

Wonderful photos, thanks! And will look forward to taking our Pod to Arkansas some time, I've heard a lot of wonderful things about the camping & parks there.

We are new to camping. We plan on hitting most of the RV sites in Arkansas. When you decide to come let me know and I can tell you my opinion of those sites.

A few photos taken October 1, 2017 from Petit Jean State Park near Morrilton, Arkansas. About an hour and fifteen minute drive West of Little Rock. It was a gorgeous weekend for camping. Burn ban was in effect so no open flame camp fires.

The park has a Lodge for eating. Cabins are available along with swimming pool, tennis, etc. Several hiking trails along with a couple of caves. Not sure how many camp sites but Loop A has sewer connections. The others do not. There is a dump station. Each loop has its own restroom and shower building. There is also a car museum on the property. Pretty neat old vehicles.

Fairly easy pull up the mountain.

We had stayed at Cossatot and Bull Shoals state parks from North Carolina.
What are some other good parks for fishing.
There are two types of people in the world. Those who like RPODs and those who are wrong.

Lake Ouachita. We stay at Tompkins Bend RV area. Corp of engineer’s lake. There are 200 islands in the lake. Plenty of fishing locations.
