Hello:

I'm a new member and just wanted to say Hi!

I've had my trailer since August 2016 , and my first tow vehicle was a Kia Sedona which I loved, however I moved to "The Trees", and since I now get a fair amount of rain and some snow, my kids talked me into a 4x4, ergo the F150

Welcome and congratulations! I hope you are enjoying your 171 as much as we enjoy our 179 and will have many happy memories of trips made with it.

Did you get the trailer towing package on your new truck?  I am interested in the knob on the dash Ford shows for backing the trailer.

Congratulations.  Although we tow our 177 with an Explorer we have also used our 94 F-150 with a 5.0 V-8 with stickshift on the floor with 311,000 miles.  It is a great truck, very dependable, and pulls the pod well.  May you have many memorable memories as you travel this great land.
