Hello Guys & Gals. I'm new to this form so don't know how this is working. Our name's are Bill&Sandy from Venice FL. My ? is about the axel that is on the 2017 1/2 179. The best I can figure is it is a Part #318009 Lippert. I called Lippert & they said it is a 3500# axle. The door sticker on the pod says dry weight 2929 & load 846 which=3775
How do they put a 3500# axle under this unit.I asked him at Lippert and he did not answer. Thanks Bill

Not sure, but if you subtract hitch weight, it'll get you pretty close to 3500, but I'm certainly no authority on this.

It's really underspec'ed for a 179 or 180, just as the tires are. Chances are you won't have any problems if you don't go off-road with it.

This is an axle weight. The weight at the fulcrum point. Why it is important to know your tongue weight and adjust load and towing respectively. If you get heavy in the rear you induce sway as an example. The trailer is safe. The issue with tires is the rated load capacity and speed.
