Ok I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything. If we get an R-Pod it will be for 2 young adults in the 30s and their 2 and 8 year old. Is the 182G R-Pod the best for them? I just want to make sure I'm not missing on that is better. They were first looking at the 176 until the saw the 182G with the outdoor kitchen! I think the 176 and 182G are the only ones with bunk beds in them?

Thanks!

We wanted bunks for our 2 kids, now 6 years old. We spend our days outside, so we bought a real mattress for dinnette bed. We love the garage/kitchen in back. 2 trips into our 2nd year with 182g, and we love it. Good luck.

Some observations from the other side. Life begins when the kid grows up and moves away, in our case to Africa, and the dog dies of old age.  We've been where you are so to speak. So we have a Rpod 177 and it works well for the two of use.

Rpoder's are active people from what we've seen so they spend most of their time out and about as apposed to sitting around in the trailer.

The 182g sounds like a perfect fit for your needs with the garage kitchen and bunk beds.  That said you may wish to look at an rdome that attaches to the pod...think of it as a custom tent extension.  I think that at times the kids would prefer to sleep in the dome and if they bring along a friend or two the rdome will accommodate the troops.

If we were where you are today this would be the option we would take.

Hope this helps,

Bert
