Once again, this has probably been asked a gazillion times but is it possible to overcharge the battery when the pod is left plugged in for a few days while not using it?

The charger that came withy pod is a 3 stage charger and it doesn't over charge. I have a current meter I can monitor and it goes to 0 amps when the battery is charged up

It won't overcharge unless something goes wrong with the charger. If you are using you own separate charger, be sure you have confidence in it. A bad charger can overheat and ruin a battery.  It's rare, but a possibility.
