For any one that's done the shelf over the bed mod in a 178, where is the best place to screw to on the roof side? The side towards the bathroom wall is easy but not sure about the other side. I was planning on screwing to that trim piece that I would assume would be on a stud. Thanks

This is from a prior post in the Mods section showing the shelving I installed in our 178 almost 3 years ago. It's still holding up just great and hold more weight than I expected using the extra short hollow-wall bolts found at Lowes.

(A note on the shelf over the door. I really wanted to use this space, but the clearance over the railing made it less useable. So I cut the railing, put on hinges, and added magnets to secure it when its' in place but easy to pull down to get to the goods.)

That's awesome!. Thanks for the pictures. I was wondering if right under where you screwed to on the back of the trailer would be a stud. If not I will try the anchors. I'm going to make my own shelf with cedar and pine so I think I can space it up from there. Will try to get a picture up when done.
