Has anyone installed a Harbor Freight (Pittsburgh, $7.99) battery cut off switch on their R-POD? Any concerns regarding the amp rating limits?

It looks like the switch handle isn't removable which you may want.  And if it is removable, there is no cover for it to stop moisture from getting in.  You may want to consider a switch from Amazon that has a removable handle and a little cap when the handle isn't in position for the same price.  Here's the site:  https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015KWSBJY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Thanks, Groupie! The Harbor Freight Pittsburgh switch Q#63425 that I have already purchased and installed has two removable handles and a weather cover (very similar to the Amazon switches, looks identical). After the fact I started to think about amp draw requirements / limitations. Unfortunately, Harbor Freight cannot advise the amp rating for this switch?

It is probably made by the same Chinese suppliers that Amazon, Auto Zone and others use, so I was looking for user experience?

Harbor Freight just e-mailed me the ratings -

continous current: 100 amps @ 12 V, 50 amps @ 24 V

surge: 1000 amps for 10 seconds @ 12 V, 500 amps for 10 seconds @ 24 V
