Congratulations to all the new Pod owners. I just got my 177 in Dec. and have not had it out yet, just been trying to get familiar with it and doing some check out!

Wait. You have a sink in the privy?
Guess I better go look at those new floorplans. I'm way behind, apparently.

Looking at the floorplans, most (all?) of them now have a small sink in the bathroom. I don't see the need for it with a much more usable sink just 2 steps away, and since the bathroom already has limited space.

I agree with you, mine is a 2011, although I have seen literature showing some with the sink, heck, bathing area is small enough!!!!!!!!!!!!

We use the sink as a catch all and toilet paper holder. We also bought a small safe electric heater on the road. We were worried about propane running out, using the furnace alot. The heater works great. I haven't refilled the propane tank yet, to get an idea of how much we used, for future trips. 2peasinapod

Richard & I are the excited new owners of a 177. Our maiden camp-out was last weekend at the Yeehaw Bluegrass Festival, which was in a cow pasture. The Pod is fantastic and we look forward to camping in more aesthetically pleasing areas

Oh man. How could you NOT have fun at something called the "Yeehaw Bluegrass Festival?"
If nothing else, you could later tell stories that started with, "Once, when I was in Yeehaw Junction ..."

When I first heard about the later 2011 models having a sink, I had basin-envy. But after showering in ours, I have to agree; it's crowded enough!! |
