Hello all! We are not " Allowed " to keep our Pod in our driveway for a extended time....Sooo, I've found a place to keep it when not in use! Not far from home but, in the country....Mice? I woke up thinking about this, read about it, bounce, peppermint oil,ect... Thought I'd ask the Pros!!

I'll say I'm sorry in advance! Not sure I put my post/questions in the right place....still learning!

We have the same situation with our driveway and have to store our Pod outside the city.  We got a bag of rodent repellent pouches from our dealer and have placed a couple of them at various locations inside the Pod.  Seems to work - thus far no mice!

I read somewhere that moth balls work.  And look around underneath and stuff steel wool into holes for pipes.

We used some spray foam to help seal some of the gaps underneath to help keep out the little visitors.

We have stored our 177 in our horse barn since 2011 and there are plenty of mice around, the cats can't keep up!  Anyway we have always used a couple of dryer sheets, one on each end inside the pod on the floor and one on the mattress.  Also put steel wool in the 2 outlets where you heater is located.  Last year we purchased a screen cover for that so no steel wool is necessary anymore.  Never have had an issue with mice inside.

+1 to Leo and jato, fill the hole and use dryer sheets, no mothballs, you could cause detector issues.

Thanks to All for the replies. I'll stop at the hardware store tonight.
Now we will have some peace of mind!

Hi Dave and Donna. We use all 3, dryer sheets all over the place including the outside storage. Cotton balls soaked in peppermint oil in a ceral bowl covered with saran wrap with fork holes poked in the saran, also all over the place. Plus outside on the ground I throw moth balls all around, with more around the tire's and front jack ( I don't lower my stab's over the winter.) Just finished winter #5 and so far no mice in the trailer. It is stored in a hoop barn in the country.. Lots of mice.. So far so good.
